The Mont-Orford National Park is an absolute must-see in the region for all winter activities. Filled with cross-country ski trails that have a well-established reputation and snowshoeing, hiking and Nordic ski (climbing skins) trails that will take you to the summit and all its spectacular views. The park also offers a selection of new activities such as the very popular fatbiking trails! Several sports can be accessed directly from the ski resort, so you can combine a fun day on the slopes with other activities in the heart of the National Park.

Jouvence is located on a 194-acre site on the shores of Lake Stukely, in Parc national du Mont-Orford. This is an area that consists of woodlands, marshes and swamps spreading out over 1.5 km2 (0.6 mi.2) that generates an impressive biodiversity. The Marais is home to hundreds of birds, mammals and amphibians that thrive on the land where they find food, sing, reproduce and find shelter throughout the seasons. Whether as a couple or with your family, come explore 8.4 km (5.2 mi.) of trails and discover the diverse ecosystems that are bound to give you an eyeful. The Benedictine monks, originating from France, built the Saint-Benoit-du-Lac Abbey in 1912 as a gorgeous and peaceful monastery overlooking Lake Memphrémagog. The Abbey is accessible year-round and welcomes everyone who wishes to attend celebrations and listen to the traditional Gregorian chants. The monks are responsible for making a wide variety of products that are offered at the shop, from cheese to cider, compote, jelly and apple butter. Enjoy one of the guided tours and discover everything the site has to offer.

Located in downtown Magog, the ice skating path is a 2.5-km (1.5-mi.) circuit situated next to the pedestrian pathway that runs alongside Lake Memphrémagog. The path is illuminated at night, and a heated shelter is available at each end for you to put on your skates (Pointe Merry and Cabana parking). It’s the perfect winter outing for both family and friends, set in an idyllic winter wonderland that offers a stunning view of the lake and mountains.
