Yes, dogs are allowed at the mountain, only from May 1rst to November 1rst, and must be on leach.

Since June 2019, mountain bike trails have been accessible at Parc national du Mont-Orford (Sépaq) only. Mountain biking is prohibited on the Mont-Orford ski mountain.

Go to the Le Cerisier Discovery and Visitors Center as well as the Le Bonnallie (Stukely Lake) and Opeongo (Fraser Lake) Visitors Centers to rent a bike or access the trails. Charges apply.

The Corporation Ski & Golf Mont-Orford respects the law surrounding the use of cannabis. Since we are a public place, it is forbidden to smoke or vapotate cannabis on the territory of Mont-Orford, inside and outside the buildings, everywhere in our territory.

No. It is forbidden to fly a personal drone on the mountain for safety reasons. On the other hand, take out your camera, our points of view are magnificent!

We don't have trash cans at the top of the mountain to protect wildlife that might come and feed there. In addition, with the winds up there, we want to avoid that the contents of the trash end up in the mountain. A badly closed lid can happen so quickly!

We recommend you to bring whit you a small bag to bring back your trash.You could dispose it in our trash, recycle and compost bins on our terrace and in the chalet.

During the thaw, we have to wait for the natural melting of the snow before going for a walk. As a ski resort produces a lot more snow than on other mountains, we sometimes have to wait a little longer for the environment to be dry.

Yes. The Corporation Ski & Golf Mont-Orford was created on May 31, 2011. It is made up of a board of directors made up of 7 members, including 3 elected municipal officials and 4 citizens. It is a non-profit organization that is 100% autonomous!

Mont-Orford is a territory under lease, included in the Mont-Orford National Park. This means that we manage a territory belonging to the Ministry of Forests, Wildlife and Parks through a lease that governs our actions.

According to this lease, we are free to manage, administer and supervise the activities and infrastructures found on our territory. This is the case, among other things, for downhill skiing, alpine hiking and hiking, events and activities that take place in the mountains.

No. We do not receive any fees from the Ministry or Sépaq for any activity whatsoever! Mont-Orford is completely financially independent.

The Corporation generates revenue solely through the sale of its own products (subscriptions, ski lift passes, sale of green fees and golf memberships, etc.).

These revenues do not allow us to make investments in our infrastructures or to develop long-term or 4-season projects. This is why we sometimes receive subsidies, in order to develop large-scale projects (enlargement of the chalet, replacement of the Alfred-Desrochers ski lift, improvements related to snowmaking, etc.) which will have major economic spinoffs in the region.

Each year, the mountain generates $70 million in economic spinoffs in the region! Studies have shown that for every dollar invested by a Mont-Orford user, he generates $7 elsewhere in the region, whether in hotels, restaurants, cafes or shops. The whole region benefits!
