Spring Break Camps

• Ages 3–5 : In groups of +/- 2 students (skiers only)
• Ages 6+: In groups of +/- 5 students
• Different levels offered

Validity

• Only valid for the dates listed.
• Children must be at least 3 years of age at the start of the first lesson.

Purchase and reservations

• Purchases must be made in person at the Snow School counter or by calling 819 843-6548, ext. 8356. No purchases can be made online.
• A valid credit card is required to make a purchase. In order to secure your reservation, the full amount will be charged at the time of purchase. (ALT: Full payment is required to secure a reservation.)
• Parents will be required to sign a Risk Recognition and Acceptance form. The link of the form will be sent by email along with the invoice (ALT: receipt).
• Taxes not included.
• Subject to availability.

Delivery

• The departure point for the camps will be by the bell, at the base of Mont-Giroux.
• The Snow School counter is open every day during the ski season from 8 AM to 4 PM.

Restrictions

• Must be combined with a valid lift access pass unless specified otherwise.Subscription, daily tickets, and equipment rentals sold separately.
• Purchases cannot be transferred from one person to another.

Refunds/credit

• Group programs can be refunded in full until 24 hours before the start of the first lesson. Management fees of 10%, up to $50 per transaction, may apply.
• In the case of an injury during the season, group programs will be refunded for all unused lessons. Management fees of 10%, up to $50 per transaction, may apply.

Schedule and departure times

• Lessons will begin on time. Please make sure you are at the slopes, ready to go at the scheduled departure time.
• If they wish to make changes, the client is responsible for notifying the Snow School no later than 12:00 PM (noon) the day before of the lesson. Outside opening hours, clients can inform the Snow School by leaving a voicemail or sending an email. Any demands made later than this deadline will result in a lost lesson.

• The departure point for the Initiation lesson will be in front of the Snow School. 
   

Late or absent
 

• Any lessons missed cannot be repeated.
• Requests to change the time of one or more lessons will NOT be accepted.
• If you arrive late, please refer to a Snow School supervisor at the base of Mont Giroux or at a Snow School counter.

Lesson cancelation due to external circumstances
 

• The Snow School reserves the right to cancel any lesson if it deems the conditions to be unsuitable for snow sports.
• In case of a cancelation, a press release will be sent out by email before 6:30 AM on the day of the lesson. The information will also be posted on the website as well as on the Mont-Orford Facebook page.

Lift access

• Daily tickets or season passes are required during the lesson.
• Daily tickets or season passes are required and must be worn somewhere visible on the outside of the ski jacket to access the lifts.
• To avoid arriving late, season pass holders must retrieve their passes at Client Services before the start of a lesson.

• The teaching methods are based on the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance (CSIA) programs.
• Student development is monitored through the CSIA Skier Development program.
• Multiple teaching methods are used, including teaching through games and modeling.
• The use of a variety of ski trails and teaching zones designed to develop and practice skiing techniques.
