Uphill skiing lessons - Snow Shcool

Mandatory

• Equipment: ski or splitboard with specific bindings, skins, touring boots, retractable poles
• Ski helmet
• Ski goggles: make sure you have a fairly clear model if you choose an experience outing - sunset or night outing
• White headlamp and red light if you have chosen an experience package (sunrise, sunset or night outing)
• Warm mittens for the descent
• Water bottle (thermos style is even better to prevent the water from freezing)
• Hiking backpack
• Waterproof, windproof style coat
• Snow pants, light if possible

Recommended

• Sunglasses (weather permitting)
• Sunscreen (depending on the weather)
• Light toque or cap for the climb
• Neck warmer or buff
• Lightweight mittens for climbing, a second pair can be handy if you plan to do more than one climb
• Base layer top and bottom
• Second slightly warmer fleece-style layer
• Third layer style down jacket or insulating coat
• Ski bottoms
• Snacks

Validity

• This product is offered 7 days a week during the season, depending on the availability of our instructors.
• Our alpine touring products are available as skis or splitboards.
• Exits are valid only for the person(s) identified at time of purchase.
• Must be at least 18 years old on the date of the trip, or between 12 and 16 years old if accompanied by an adult.
• All clients must be able to descend a green slope by making turns and having control over their descent.

Purchase and reservation

• You must book your outing at least 72 hours in advance by phone with the École de Glisse at 819-843-6548, ext. 8356, to ensure availability.
• A valid credit card is required at the time of purchase, and full payment will be taken to secure the purchase.
• Furthermore taxes.
• Subject to availability.
• Prices and conditions are subject to change without notice.
• The parent and/or participant must sign the Risk Acknowledgment Form. The form link will be sent by email along with the invoice.

Delivery

• Following your reservation, you will need to arrive at the meeting point established with your instructor a minimum of 15 minutes before your lesson with all your equipment in hand ready to begin the activity.
• The Snow School counter is open every day of the ski season, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• The lesson will start and end at the scheduled time.
• During Experience outings, we cannot guarantee a sunrise or sunset due to weather conditions.

Restrictions

• Must be combined with a valid access for the lifts and ensure the validity of the ticket one day in advance (since the customer service counter opens at 8:00 am, at the same time as the start of the class)
• Subscription or daily ticket sold separately.
• The product cannot be transferred from one person to another.

Refund/Credit

• If you are unable to show up for your appointment, contact the Snow School ([email protected] or 819-843-6548 ext. 8356) at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule it. at a later date
• If you do not contact us 24 hours before your lesson, your lesson cannot be canceled. No refund or possibility of postponing your lesson will then be possible.
• The snow school reserves the right to postpone or cancel a lesson if it is unable to honor it or if the weather does not permit it.
• For alpine touring lessons, no refunds or credits are possible.
