Ground improvement project

• Rather than altering the existing terrain, Services EXP Inc. strategically covers rocky areas. We use a mixture of uncontaminated fill soil.
• To ensure compliance with the strictest environmental standards, we work closely with an agronomist. Once the soil has been spread, specialists will perform hydroseeding and then install 100% biodegradable straw and coconut fiber rolls. This technique helps stabilize the soil and prevent erosion.

Absolutely not. Since there is no excavation or removal of rocks, the natural terrain of your favorite trails will remain unchanged. The work simply involves covering the rocks to reduce snow production during snowmaking and to preserve the snow longer in the spring.

Protecting our mountain is our top priority. All work is strictly supervised and authorized by the ministry.

• Water protection : There are no streams in the area surrounding the construction site.
• Environmental Responsibility : The exclusive use of certified soils and biodegradable materials ensures that our operations are in harmony with the local ecosystem.

Construction will begin in late May or early June and will last approximately four weeks, Monday through Friday. The crews will start with the Giroux and Magnum runs and finish with the Maxi.

While construction is in progress, certain sections will be temporarily closed to hikers for safety reasons. Clear signs will be installed at the base of the mountain to indicate which trails are accessible in real time.

Please note that there will be increased traffic of heavy machinery, as well as the use of cables and winches in the 4 km slope. For your safety, please follow the posted signs.
