What's new at the resort

In preparation for the 2024-25 season, the Mont-Orford ski resort is once again investing $2 million in snowmaking. Purchase of snow cannons, a new groomer and a land clearing tractor and improvement of snowmaking infrastructure.

Mont-Orford is investing $2 million in snowmaking, in a new pump at the pumping station allowing snow to be made in two different sectors at once and in the purchase of numerous fixed snow cannons!

More than $2.5 million will be invested this season in adding RFID technology to the resort, purchasing fixed snow cannons and fan cannons and overhauling 18 gondolas.

Installation of a new quadruple lift on the Alfred-Desrochers hillside, addition of 3 new uphill skiing ascent trails and 3 shelters on our summits and the expansion of the school slope!

On December 31rst, 2021, Mont-Orford inaugurated the new quadruple lift on the Alfred-Desrochers slope, an investment of $4.5 million! Learn more about this event and this legendary slope.

Expansion of the ski chalet, modernization of the snowmaking system, addition of the dome on the snow school zone and new uphill skiing trails are part of the investments for the 2019-20 season!
